Human Thoughts

Well, it has been a few months since I've jotted something here or rather too lazy to do so... Anyways, I could fondly remember my first posting was on 12th May 2008; When the whole world mourns the catastrophical event that casted upon China!

Few months later, today, people around the world; The thoughts of being sympathetic towards the said disaster probably been reduced by half... Perhaps the people of the world is ready for the next "Periodic Disaster Chore Cycle" to happen!... A sad thing! This cycle continuosly repeats and yet the thoughts of "Let's sympathize and forget" seem to follow the same tempo... I am not referring to any specific individual but generalizing the human thoughts as a whole in making this statement...

This is why I am making this a topic in this posting; HUMAN THOUGHTS (only someone up there knows when this posting is going to end!)

Hmmm... Probably I should organize the contents in this posting! Ok... I'll start off with

1) The Human Evolution

Hey! I'm not gonna discuss about Darwin's Theory of Evolution or champion The Ape-man Evolution Theory here! Stop being prejudice... will ya?

I am here to talk about how humans have come together since the day we know humans existed ages ago... from living in the cave TO grouping together in forming a mini-group TO forming a community around river deltas TO forming a country TO who we are today!

What's so significant about this?!?! Yes... yes... you're right! Humans from ages ago realized they couldn't possibly live alone or in other words, interactions were important! So, move over Mr. Lee Kuan Yew! Your "No Man is an Island!" phrase was not so phenomenal after all!

And what can you see from there?! Yes... you're right again! When the human thoughts / minds were taught to be smarter... they couldn't possibly be stupider for the same reason... They tend to build  and accept logic as part of their daily chores... IN OTHER WORDS, every different humans stipulated their own set of "rules" within their mindsets!

2) It's Your Medicine!... Not Mine!

Well well... when it comes to reading, I've to admit it's one of my all time favorite... but being my all time favorite doesn't mean I'm indulged into it... Why?! Taking for example; if you take a stroll through the racks in the bookstore, we all tend to find books telling us how interesting the book title attracts us... The first from my point of view... Why that particular book attracts me in the first place? Well, it might be due to the particular thoughts at that point of time that attracted me at that particular book! One might say, a book widens our knowledge but have we thought to ourselves, if we don't read at all, am I deemed to be an idiot?!

The answer is no! A book to me is also written by an author... An author is also homo-sapien (same species as you and me). Under what circumstances makes him / her a more enlightened person than you and me if you read his / her books?!

My point here is... read to get entertained! Not to get obsessed! A book only tells you how the person think based on his / her thoughts... not yours and mine! Even if you bring me a book with the title "The Priciples of Mathematics"... I would say hey! Mathematics is something that someone made universal! When we were born... we know nuts about numbers... It is so called our peers made us learn and apply it in our everyday life... That means we were programmed to accept it as our rule-of-thumb in our everyday life... Yes! rules / laws were written to make this world a systematic environment to function... but we all have our own thoughts right?! For me, I don't believe in pre-fix rules... Good and Bad, Right and Wrong, We shall do this but should avoid that... the list goes on...

Everyone came to this world bringing along zero knowledge but we brought WISDOM with us. One might ask... aren't wisdom and knowledge synonymical?! NO! they are not! Wisdom is intangible whilst knowledge is tangible. Wisdom is the "smartness" in yourself whilst knowledge is the cleverness within other peoples' point-of-view. My summary is... knowledge is just the subset of WISDOM... Therefore a person can survive without knowledge but he / she cannot survive without WISDOM in himself / herself!

3) Cyberworld... The Fourth-Dimension (In the making...)?!

Einstein once stated... if you could travel at the speed of light... blah! blah! blah!... then you've probably found the 4th Dimension! Hey dude... we've already found the 4D on the day we were born... why?! Have you ever calculated the speed when you suddenly come up with a thought in your mind?! The only thing is that this 4D only lives intrinsically within our minds... Over the years, tools were invented to complement the sharing of thoughts at the fastest speed possible but with specific or limited tasks only... the telegraph or telephone for example...

But in the mid-90s, something new crept into our already 3-Dimension world; the internet technology! From then till now, perhaps very few know about how powerful or dangerous this technology could potentially be!

From IRC (10 years back) to Facebook (today) to Detonating your home from my home with a "click!" (possibly 10 years from now!)... these are the potential powers of the information age...

Perhaps Einstein didn't mention the travelling at the speed of light is not limited to bodily /physical human movements BUT the travel speed between human thoughts!

Tangent Thoughts

It took a while after I started this blog on what are my primary thoughts I would like to share here...

Probably I'll start off with a short introduction on myself and my thoughts after residing in this homo-sapien world for all these years. I must say being myself today has been the results of being able to see life from the middle-class-citizen's point of view. Yes, I must admit I'm glad to be brought to this world by my parents. OK... ok! I'm gonna cut the crap short here in telling my growing evolution I have gone through.

Following me out together into this world are also QUESTIONS that have tagged along. Many... many... questions that normal homo sapiens try to find the "answers" and "solutions" everyday! Hmmm.... probably that is why I named this blog "The Tangent Thoughts".

By all means, I'm not trying to create a prophecy or promote any divine methods here (as I am a firm follower of my religion... thank god!).

Purely simple. What are being posted here are my thoughts based on what I have seen all these while...
